The FTR team were in Cologne this week for Intermot 2016. There were some beauties to behold, here are our top six.
1. Walzwerk Motorcycle Company
Walzwerk Motorcycle Company, the German outfit behind the Tridays 13 bike, have been hard at it again with the customised Black Scrambler and Blue Thruxton R FSA1200 from Triumph.
The two bikes were quick to capture the imagination after the Newchurch success of the custom house’s Speed Triple 1050.

2. The White Bike & Bulldog
The White Bike and Bulldog, both huge hits with Carl Fogarty and Christoph Lentsch at Glemseck, were among the first-day stars.
The Essenza bikes are scheduled to join the 1/8-mile sprint at the event on Saturday 8 October, under the ‘Intermot customised’ banner.
Find them in Hall 10.1 on the Essenza Stand
3. Circus of Speed
Fashioned around a 1920’s boardtrack racer, Larry Houghton’s ‘Circus of Speed’ modern twist on an old crowd-pleaser got the crowds rolling up at Intermot.
The UK builder’s Triumph Bonneville 2010, with its one-off rigid frame and eye-catching alloy tank, ensured the Circus Speed Bike took top spot on the AMD (American Motorcycle Dealer Magazine) stand.
See it in Hall 10.1
4. Triumph Custom Stand
Classic to the core, Triumph’s stand featured Bonneville’s finest from the Thruxton R, Scrambler, Street Twin and Speed Triple, with two T100’s in Blue and Black adding a certain panache to proceedings.
Look out for the Triumph Custom Stand in Hall 10.1
5. Sultans of Spirit
The Sultans of Spirit stand was dominated by the Crazy Bonnie, built by the crew at French FCR Original, well known for their appearance at drag racing events, as we saw at Glemseck.
Again it’s Hall 10.1 for Sultans of Spirit
6. LSL Stand
Last but not least, check out the Clubman T120 and Clubman Street Twin on the LSL stand in Hall 9.
